Questions shop owners ask
Do my customers need to download an app?
No. They scan the QR code at your counter and their card opens in the phone's web browser. They can add it to their home screen if they like.
Can my staff see customers' phone numbers?
No. At the till, staff see a first name and the last 4 digits of the mobile. Only the shop owner sees the customer list.
Does it work with my till?
Tillkeep runs beside your till on a phone, tablet or laptop, so you don't need to change your till system. A USB barcode scanner can read the customer's card.
Can I send offers on WhatsApp?
Offers by text work today and come from your shop's own name. WhatsApp offers are on the way.
What happens if a customer wants to stop getting offers?
Every text has its own stop link. One tap stops offers, and the customer keeps their points.
Who owns the customer list?
You do. Tillkeep only uses it to run your loyalty scheme. We never sell it or share it with other shops.
Where is the data kept?
Customer data is stored on servers in Ireland, in the EU. Texts are sent through Twilio. Our privacy notice lists everyone involved.
What does Tillkeep cost?
It is free while we set up our first shops. There is no contract, and we agree a monthly price with you before anything is charged.
